Metamorphosis is a process in the Weird World where a Weird One changes into a different Weird One. Similarly to evolution in the Pokemon franchise, metamorphosis in the Weird World is not a merely visual change; the new species has a different Album number (this will always exceed that of the Wierd One it metamorphed from), different base stats, and may have a different element (combination), learn different moves, and have a different ability. However, the Weird One's personal properties however, such as personality traits and interests, will remain the same (although, in rare cases, the latter example may be slightly altered).
