Joyless Toys are a special kind of Local Toy that have lost their joy through unknown means. They always have sorrowful, sulking expressions, isolate themselves from others by living in the wild, and reserve what little playfulness they have left for Toy-Tasks and nothing else.

To cure a Joyless Toy, the player must first complete their Toy-Task Challenge or defeat them in a Toy-Task Battle. Then, they'll either give up any Local Toys they have or fall unconscious to be rescued (which is what usually happens). After that, they can be cured by exposing them to giggle juice from a Chuckle-Box.
