Loombloom

Loomblooms are flowers in Loonarin’s Mod that grow on Loomiwuds, and serve as the primary method of obtaining Loomfroots.

Obtaining

Loomblooms generate on Loomiwuds and grow on Loomiwud leaves when bonemeal is applied to them (this only works if the leaf block doesn’t already have Loomblooms on it).

Loomblooms break instantly when mined, but can only be collected with shears; otherwise, they drop nothing.

Uses

Loomblooms mainly serve to be pollinated by Loomiflies to bear fruit.

Loombloom buds typically only bloom starting after dusk and will revert into buds during the day. Loomiflies will seek out blooming Loomblooms that have not been pollinated, prioritizing them over other flowers if they are present. When a Loombloom is pollinated, it will advance into a fruiting stage, where Loomfroot begins to ripen on it. When the fruit is fully ripe, it can be right-clicked to harvest 2-3 Loomfroots and reset the Loombloom to its budding stage, restarting the cycle.
