Even in a land of toys, not everyone gets along. All Playfolk types have a relationship with other types, which affects how well they cooperate together without the player's influence.

Arguments

If at least one Playfolk of a given type is close enough to a Playfolk of a type that it dislikes for too long, it may begin to shove the other Playfolk. The Playfolk will then begin angrily shoving each other back until either they are interrupted by the whistle or their argument escalates into a fight cloud that randomly moves around and can pick up any Playfolk it comes into contact with. While not directly considered a hazard, it should be treated with great caution, as not only will the fighting Playfolk accidentally roll into other hazards, enemies, or a bottomless pit, but if they are ignored, Playfolk inside the cloud will die one by one every few seconds. If a certain number of Playfolk are left within the cloud, they will stop fighting, knock each other back slightly, and have their happiness instantly reset to the content state. The survivors will also be heavily damaged, so both they and the corpses will need to be repaired at the Toybox. If this happens in a cave, however, it's better to simply cut the expedition short and return once the injured Playfolk are repaired.
