Personality

Princess Edith stands out as a ruler of the Phoenix Kingdom. She is less of a hot head. She is also a confident tomboy with a few girly streaks, such as her dresses and feminine charm. She is loving and kind to her family and friends, and appreciates those who help her or give her gifts to show their bond. She treats herself as a warrior when not kidnapped.

History

Edith grew up in the heated castle of the Phoenix Kingdom. In her childhood, she was a textbook classic princess, but in light of her extreme family, she was determined to stay calm and kind. She was eventually and unwillingly betrothed to Zorori. Safe to say, despite his goals, it would not have been a happy marriage. When Edith is around him, she can never relax because she’s always waiting for his next hoax. She decided to take one day off in Printilia, where she met Cast. It wasn’t love at first sight, but there was indeed attraction. Unlike Zorori, Cast is straightforward and honest and very romantic. When she was kidnapped by Axrus and taken to her castle in space, Cast found a way on his quest to communicate with her, and their relationship blossomed. Since the adventure, they’ve been an adventure couple, even though she still gets kidnapped from time to time.

Abilities

While not superhuman on her own, her Phoenix Feathers, passed down the female royal bloodline, each give her special powers.

  • Action Commands: The first feather gives Princess Edith the ability to do more with her attacks. This is given to Cast early in Paper Cast, and heavily impacts the gameplay.
  • Levitation: The second feather grants Princess Edith the ability to defy gravity and float in mid-air. With this power, she can move effortlessly through the skies, granting her an advantage in aerial combat or navigation.
  • Photokinesis: The third feather allows Princess Edith to command the power of light. She can generate and manipulate brilliant beams of light, or make herself invisible.
  • Swordsmanship: The fourth feather makes Princess Edith a highly skilled swordswoman. She materializes a magical sword that enhances her combat abilities, making her an expert in close-quarters combat. With her exceptional agility and precision, she can swiftly strike down foes with deadly accuracy.
  • Elemental Control: The fifth feather gifts Princess Edith the ability to control and manipulate various elements. Due to Phoenix Kingdom tradition, she mainly uses fire, creating powerful flames that can incinerate enemies or create barriers for defense. But she also has the magic of water, earth, air, and space with her.
  • Healing: The sixth feather blesses Princess Edith with the gift of healing. She can channel her energy to mend wounds, cure ailments, and restore vitality. Her healing powers also extend to reviving fallen allies, allowing her to bring them back from the brink of death.
  • Astral Projection: The seventh feather provides Princess Edith with the power to separate her consciousness from her physical body and project it into the astral plane. This power allows her to communicate with spirits and people from afar.
  • Energy Absorption: The eighth and last, but not least, feather endows Princess Edith with the ability to absorb and harness various forms of energy. This ability allows her to absorb energy-based attacks, such as lightning or energy beams, and convert them into her own power. She can then redirect this energy to enhance her own attacks or use it to heal herself.
