Scrap Mound
Scrap Mounds are large, naturally-occurring piles of junk found in and around the Great Dump. The player can rummage through them to find certain items or encounter specific wild Weird Ones. A Scrap Mound at full size can be rummaged up to five times before it disappears, and all mounds will slowly regenerate after being rummaged. These mounds take up to 6 in-game days to fully restore, but all mounds spawned in a save file have a predetermined maximum to which they spawn and can regenerate.

Possible Weird Ones
When rummaging through a Scrap Mound, there is initially a 15% chance of encountering a wild Weird One. The chance increases as a mound gets smaller, up to 40%.
