Lesser Maidoll
Lesser Maidolls are tiny, doll-like enemies wearing maid outfits in Playfluff.
Appearance
Lesser Maidolls appear as small dolls wearing maid outfits. They have short, bronze-yellow hair, a green bow, and beady black eyes with single eyelashes. They do not have a visible mouth.
Behavior
Lesser Maidolls stroll freely in whatever location they happen to be in, blissfully ignoring nearby Playfolk and leaders, and occasionally sweeping up clouds of dust. Upon seeing an object, treasure, or corpse that they can carry, Lesser Maidolls will rush to said object and carry it to predetermined "broom spots." The Lesser Maidolls then grab a broom and rapidly sweep back and forth to bury the object. If a Lesser Maidoll grabs an object but no broom spots are available, she will still carry the object but wander around with it aimlessly for a bit before sighing in disappointment and letting it go. From here, she will not pick up another object again until a broom spot is available.
Lesser Maidolls have a pull strength of 5. If one grabs onto an object with Playfolk on it, she will shake the object to get it off, but can't do this if she's being dragged. If both forces equal 5, neither can move until the Lesser Maidoll shakes some Playfolk off. If a Lesser Maidoll carrying an object is dragged into the tractor beam of a Toybox, she will hit her head on it and die instantly, dropping the object she was carrying.
Lesser Maidolls are also terrified of Burdusts, and will flee from them on sight regardless of whether they're carrying an item or not. Lesser Maidolls currently being dragged towards the Toybox will not be able to run away from Burdusts. Still, the Maidolls will have a visibly uneasy expression and start sweating if a Burdust is nearby.
Etymology
- Name: A combination of maid' and doll, with lesser as a title to reference how they're low-ranking maids.
