Chaos Children
The Chaos Children are a group of twelve reanimated characters in the Loonari-Verse. They were originally human children, but were killed in an incident, and later given new bodies based on their interests.
History
The Chaos Children were originally a group of thirteen normal human children who were childhood friends with Layla. They went to school together, they hung out together, and they occasionally visited each other at home. Then, one day (two days before Layla's eighth birthday to be exact), she did not come to school. She had gone missing. Her friends grew worried. The authorities searched for her everywhere. Eventually, the children were told the bad news: Layla had been found dead in her own home, apparently stabbed to death by her own abusive father. Her friends were devastated by their loss, and tried to take their minds off of it.
A month or so after the initial incident, the thirteen children entered an abandoned building, where they played for a while. However, Layla's father entered the building, approached the children as they huddled together in fear, and killed them all one by one as Layla's ghost watched in fear. Her father came out of the building, and a few minutes later, the ghosts of Layla's childhood friends materialized in front of her. Layla took them all to an imaginary space in her mind, where they stayed for some time until Layla decided to use the logic of her world to create new bodies for the Chaos Children based on their interests. After the Chaos Children got used to their new vessels, Layla brought all of them back to the real world.
In the real world, the Chaos Children hid from the authorities for a while, before being studied in the Novella Research Facility. The Chaos Children seemed to have eventually escaped (or were set free), and have now integrated themselves into society.
