Loonarin's Mod is a Minecraft mod being created by Loonarin-San.

Features

Blocks

• Cosmic Flowers
  • Found in the rare Loominous Oasis biome.
  • Are pollinated by Loomiflies if blooming Loomblooms are not available.
  • Are considered "small flowers," meaning they can also be used to breed and lead bees.
• Cosmiloam
  • Generates as the ground block of Loominous Oases and can spread to dirt blocks.
  • Can be bonemealed to produce Plutoweeds and cosmic flowers.
• Loombloom
  • Grows on Loomiwuds.
  • Can be pollinated by a Loomifly after blooming at night, after which it will grow Loomfroots.
  • Can also be used to breed Loomiflies and reduce the growth time of their babies.
• Loomifly box
  • Can be crafted to facilitate farming of Loomiflies.
  • Functions the same as a Loomifly nest.
• Loomifly nest
  • Can be found on Loomiwud trees.
  • Houses up to 4 Loomiflies based on its nest level and can be upgraded using Loomifly Wax.
  • Fills up with sap as Loomiflies collect pollen and return to it, and will show purple sap when full.
    • The sap can be harvested with a glass bottle when the nest is full.
• Loomiwud Leaves
  • Generates as part of Loomiwud trees, sometimes having Loomblooms on them.
  • Does not drop saplings itself, but does drop sticks.
  • Grows Loomblooms on a random, unobstructed side (not the top or bottom) if bonemeal is applied to it, similar to mangrove leaves.
• Loomiwud Log
  • The logs are part of Loomiwud trees.
  • Can be crafted into Loomiwud Planks and Wood.
    • The log also has a stripped variant, wood, and stripped wood variants, as with all logs.
  • Slightly more efficient as fuel than other logs, smelting 2 items per (stripped) log/wood instead of 1.5.
• Loomiwud planks
  • Can be crafted from Loomiwud logs and wood, and crafted into buttons, stairs, fences, fence gates, doors, pressure plates, trapdoors, signs, and hanging signs.
  • Slightly more efficient as fuel than other planks, smelting 2 items per plank instead of 1.5.
• Plutoweeds
  • Found in Loominous Oases.
  • Grows only on Cosmiloam, which can be bonemealed to grow Plutoweeds.
  • Can only be harvested with shears.
• Succuleaf Shrub
  • Generates sparsely in deserts.
  • Can be harvested for Succuleaves and Succuleaf Blossoms, the latter of which can be used to plant more shrubs.
  • The blossoms as items are considered small flowers, and can therefore be used to breed and lead bees.
• Wild Bean Bush
  • Generates in small clusters in plains.
  • Drops 1-3 bean pods if broken, but drops itself when harvested with shears.
  • Considered a “small flower,” meaning it can be pollinated by bees and used to breed and lead them.
  • Can spread if bonemeal is applied to it.

Items

• Bean & Baked Bean
  • Beans can be obtained from bean pods, or from bean crops.
  • Beans can be planted in farmland to make bean crops.
  • Can be cooked into baked beans in a furnace, smoker, or campfire, which can be eaten quickly.
  • Baked Beans can be used to tame Marions.
• Bean Pod
  • Harvested from wild bean bushes or fully mature bean crops.
  • Can be turned into beans via crafting.
• Green Beans
  • Can only be obtained by harvesting a bean crop at stage 6 (the stage just before the crop is fully mature).
  • Can be cooked to produce boiled green beans.
• Loomfroot
  • Can be harvested from fully ripened Loomblooms after they have been pollinated.
  • Can be converted into Loodling seeds.
• Loomifly sap bottle
  • Can be harvested from full Loomifly nests or boxes.
  • Can be used on a Loomifly to result in Loomifly Wax.
• Loomifly Wax
  • Obtained from giving a Loomifly a Loomifly sap bottle.
  • Can be used on a Loomifly to result in Loomifly Wax.
• Succuleaves
  • Harvested from fully grown Succuleaf Shrubs.
  • Can be eaten.

Mobs

• Loomifly
  • Inhabits Loomifly nests and boxes.
  • Pollinates Loomblooms and produces sap within their nests.
    • Seeks out "cosmic flowers" to pollinate if no blooming Loomblooms are available
  • Can produce Loomifly Wax if given a honey bottle.
• Marion
  • Spawns semi-rarely in plains biomes.
  • Nibbles on wild bean bushes and fully grown bean crops, setting the latter back a growth phase.
  • Can be tamed and then bred with baked beans.
  • A tamed Marion will occasionally collect items and drop them near its owner.
• Cosfey
  • Spawns rarely in Loominous Oases.
